Meenakshi Medical College Admission 2019 Year of Inception of College : 2003 Status: Recognized ( Deemed University) Annual Intake:150 About Meenakshi Medical College: The Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute established at Enathur is located very near to the Temple Town of Kanchipuram. The College has been located close to the Chennai – Bangalore National Highway (NH 4) and is well connected by public and private transport systems. The nearest airport namely Anna Airport (Meenambakam) is just 50 kms from the Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute. Counselling Details Counselling Details for Seats under 15% All India Quota Students will be able to participate in the counselling process according to their rank. Counselling for 15% All India Quota will be organized by MCC of Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS) through online mode. Counselling for other than 15% All India Quota will be managed by the respective authorities.

Meenakshi Medical College was given a status of Deemed University from 2003 by Human Resource Development Ministry, Govt. of India on the advice of UGC under section (3) of UGC Act 1956 vide their notification No. F-9-11/2000-U.3.

Admission Criteria: ADMISSION PROCESS AND AWARD OF DEGREES MBBS: Admission of students of MMCH&RI is made strictly on merit based on an All India Examination (NEET) as prescribed by the MCI and UGC Regulations and in consistence with the National policy in this behalf from time to time.

Selection will be made after counseling as per the merit list. Classes will be started in August. The Degrees are awarded by the University for the successful candidates

1. Introduction The admissions to MBBS courses shall be done on the basis of the merit list as ascertained from the performance of the candidates in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2019 - 20 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi by DGHS New Delhi.
